Welcome to the 4th Brooks Ruhr Trail Run on September 13, 2026! After three successful years, we are looking forward to the 4th edition in 2026. An unforgettable trail run that leads along the Ruhr cliffs at Hengsteysee and is divided into two exciting disciplines: the "Discovery Trail Run" over approximately 9 km with 255 meters of elevation gain, ideal for beginners, as well as the Hero Trail over approximately 17 km with 510 meters of elevation gain. New this year is the Morning Street Run for flat course enthusiasts and the Young Talents Run for the youngest participants. In all races, the focus is on the joy of running and the enjoyment of nature.
Highlights
- The course offers a great view and is divided into two exciting disciplines: the "Discovery Trail Run" over approximately 9 km with 255 meters of elevation gain and the Hero Trail over approximately 17 km with 510 meters of elevation gain.
- In 2026, there will be a Morning Street Run for everyone who prefers the flat route around the lake, as well as a Young Talents Run for our youngest participants.
- Each participant receives an online certificate, and the event offers rankings for both women and men, as well as age group classifications.
